Abridge

Yet more digital practice!
So hello to Abridge!

He's quite a young naga, only sixteen years old, so barely out of hatchling hood.  It's pretty common for naga young to look younger then they are for many years.

Abridge was part of Fortitude's army some time ago, although he wasn't born for many years during it.  He isn't actually the same breed as the others either, his egg was found on a different world and therefore a entirely different species.  Because of how similar the egg was to their own (and Fortitude being rather curious) kept the egg safe and hatched later.

Fortitude took the boy under his wing soon after he was born and helped keep him alive, as the boy proved to be weaker then most his age and came close to being eaten or killed by the other troops.  By all accounts Fort should have allowed this but even as a young'n he couldn't leave the weak ones to the cruel hands of their nest mates.

Unlike those who raised him Abridge has a fixed jaw, so he can't swallow his prey whole, and neither does he have a second stomach, a fact that baffled the other naga's.  He also proved to be naturally kindhearted, oddly mature for his age and peaceful, a fact that alienated the hatchling.

When Fortitude abandoned his troops one of his regrets was that he was forced to leave his closest friends and Abridge behind, knowing their lives would be endangered as well.  However a few years afterwards the army fell to pieces, their home dimension closed them off and left them to perish alone on a foreign world.
Abridge fled with Caerulean and his one day to be mate Marlyn, trying to find a safe place where they could settle and figure out what to do from there.  They however were chased into the ocean, and despite the older naga's efforts Abridge didn't have the strength to make the crossing... and sunk beneath the waves.

He woke up many, many years later, the world having changed dramatically in the time since he had drowned, mysteriously still his previous age, despite close to a couple thousand years having passed.
The only thing that had changed about him was the colour of his hair, now a silver shade, once a creamy brown, and his eyes, which were once a hazel colour.

He's still the same young naga, his memory is perfectly intact up till he passed out.

He searches for his old friends, as well as trying to find out the mystery of his reappearance.
